Founded in 1917, Hotwells & District Allotments Association is the largest growing co-operative in the South West.
Why are we different?
Independent
HwDAA is one of Bristol’s two independent allotment associations. Our rent, rules, governance and policies are separate from Bristol City Council managed plots and associations.
Community run
We rely on the support of our volunteers to improve and maintain our sites and facilities. Any tenant can stand for election to our committee.
Forward looking
We know that allotment keeping has changed and are keen to ensure our association has events, services and facilities to accommodate this and to cement HwDAA within Bristol’s wider growing community.
